A wonderful person indeed.

We were introduced to Peter by the Lincolnshire Co-Operative Funeral Service.
Following a brief introductory phone call from Peter, arrangements were made to meet at our house.
He arrived exactly as scheduled. He explained what everything was all about and listened quietly to our needs and offered a few small items for us to consider. He assured us that we could change things around as we wished. The impression he gave was, he was here purely to help us understand the entire funeral process, give personal advice and most importantly his full personal support.
A sensitive, most understanding person, we found him a true professional in his duty, but yet also a kind person as well.
We had already decided what we would like read out and by whom. Our previously prepared printed WORD copy was viewed and discussed at this time and the actual document emailed to him.
A short while after, this was returned with a few personal suggestions and asking us for any further ideas and any amendments.
We were now happy with the final item.
A day or two before the funeral, we were sent the complete transcript of the whole service.
This was comforting for us to read (out aloud) and also to appreciate and approve absolutely everything contained within.
It gave us a deeper understanding of what would happen on the day.
When the day arrived, Peter met us as we disembarked the limousine and briefly but clearly described the next steps.
He conducted the entire proceedings in a very clear voice, pausing occasionally as required and imparting a personal, caring attitude to all he said.
When we exited the crematorium I was pleased to thank him and shake his hand, as a friend.
There were a lot of our family and friends that praised the quality of the service and also how he was such a warm person.
What was a very difficult day was made easier by the help and understanding of Peter.
