Peter, lead the service for our late father Martin Smith on 30th December 2019 at South Lincolnshire Crematorium and was a true professional. From our first home meeting, Peter was calm, sensitive & very respectful of our recent situation and he listened to our requirements and thoughts for the ceremony and offered considered assistance and guidance. Prior to the service he forwarded the order of service for us to to read and sign off and on the day his delivery was clear, respectful and sincere. Peter made a very difficult occasion easier to deal with and numerous people who attended commented on how proud our father would have been to hear that service. Peter contacted us almost immediately after seeing the Funeral Director, right from the start he was very professional and caring.
Peter listened to our needs to what we wanted to be included in mums service.
We were told by family & friends afterwards what a lovely service it was & very fitting for mum.

Peter was recommended to our family, he arranged a meeting with me and my sister and he listened to what we wanted for our mums funeral. He was very professional and kind and went through all of the service with us given us different options.
On the day the service was first class we enjoyed it and it was what our mum wanted. Afterwards we were told by family and friends what a lovely service and our mum would have been proud.

We were recommended Peters services through our funeral director in Holbeach after the passing of Sheila. Peter came to our house for our first contact and listened to our wishes with compassion and sympathy and listened to our concerns and thoughts and gave sincere advice. He went away and created a perfect order of service which was delivered with dignity without being overly formal. Could not fault Peter in any way. We was recommended peter through the funeral directors. Our first meeting was from my mums home and was very formal and put me and my brother at ease with his suggestions that proved to be perfect on the day of the funeral. Peter was recommended to us by March cooperative funeral services, having stated we didn't want a sombre affair, they said Peter would be perfect as celebrant, he was.
Peter came to our house and guided us through the process, asking us what we wanted, advising on every minute detail.
I believe the day wouldn't have gone so perfectly if we chosen else where.
I would recommend Peter 100 percent, if when needed I would ask Peter to look after everything again.
There's only one thing left to say Thankyou Peter, you made a difficult day so much easier.

He explained what everything was all about and listened to my needs and suggested a suitable song as I was unsure what Mum liked. He assured me that I could change things as I wished.
The impression he gave was that he was here to help me understand the funeral process and give personal advice.
I found Peter a true professional.
I had already composed a short poem relative to my Mother's life and he suggested a very moving closing poem.
When the day arrived, Peter met me and clearly described the next steps.
He conducted the entire service in a very clear voice, pausing and imparting a personal caring attitude to all he said.
When I exited the crematorium I was pleased to thank him.
It was a small family service and they praised the quality of his presentation.
It was a difficult day that was made easier by the help and understanding of Peter.

Having been recommended to us by Lincolnshire Co-op Funeral Services Peter Thompson visited me at home to arrange the service for my beloved wife Patricia. I had already started to draft a resume of her life and after reading it and listening to what else I recalled we set about the order of service. I had ideas and what Patricia had specifically asked for but there were still gaps and with Peter's help and guidance I was able to agree the order and content. Prior to the Funeral Peter sent me a draft copy of what was to be said and after I realised that there were some parts of her life which I wished included Peter duly obliged. After the funeral Family and Friends remarked on a truly wonderful service that had done 'Patricia Proud. 'That was not all down to me but to Peter's help and the clear concise and dignified way Peter delivered that service.

We were introduced to Peter by the Lincolnshire Co-Operative Funeral Service.
Following a brief introductory phone call from Peter, arrangements were made to meet at our house.
He arrived exactly as scheduled. He explained what everything was all about and listened quietly to our needs and offered a few small items for us to consider. He assured us that we could change things around as we wished. The impression he gave was, he was here purely to help us understand the entire funeral process, give personal advice and most importantly his full personal support.
A sensitive, most understanding person, we found him a true professional in his duty, but yet also a kind person as well.
We had already decided what we would like read out and by whom. Our previously prepared printed WORD copy was viewed and discussed at this time and the actual document emailed to him.
A short while after, this was returned with a few personal suggestions and asking us for any further ideas and any amendments.
We were now happy with the final item.
A day or two before the funeral, we were sent the complete transcript of the whole service.
This was comforting for us to read (out aloud) and also to appreciate and approve absolutely everything contained within.
It gave us a deeper understanding of what would happen on the day.
When the day arrived, Peter met us as we disembarked the limousine and briefly but clearly described the next steps.
He conducted the entire proceedings in a very clear voice, pausing occasionally as required and imparting a personal, caring attitude to all he said.
When we exited the crematorium I was pleased to thank him and shake his hand, as a friend.
There were a lot of our family and friends that praised the quality of the service and also how he was such a warm person.
What was a very difficult day was made easier by the help and understanding of Peter.

Having no idea of what was involved my sister and I used Peters Celebrant services having been recommended by our chosen Funeral Director.
Peter met with me and was professional, thorough and helped by offering suggestions to enable us to build our celebration for our Mother Joan. After drafts were sent by Peter, this then led us on to remember other important parts to be included.
When our day came, Peter met with us and introduced to all and started to guide us through the proceedings. Peters celebration was professional, timely, sincere and unrushed. It was exactly what we wanted without being 'heavy' , indeed some light hearted moments in our Mums life story were inserted with lovely affect to give the grandchildren some memory's.
Before, during and after Peter was caring and attentive and produced a written copy to keep of our celebration service.
