Mum died on 21st August 2018. Kate and Michael were considerate and helpful from the moment they were contacted, guiding us through the various elements of arranging the cremation. They advised us on the options and left us to make our own decisions, subsequently ensuring that arrangements were made as requested. The ceremony itself was, in accordance with Mum's wishes, a simple one with Kate acting as Celebrant. They arranged for collection of the ashes within a couple of days.

I found this company through a Google search when I was looking for help with my dear brother's funeral. It's the first funeral I'd ever had to arrange and was finding the entire ordeal stressful.
Right from the very start, they listened whereas other companies merely stated what they would do....no chance for WE wanted. Requests which had been met with heavy sighs by other funeral directors, were responded to by Attwood's without quibbling. They made everything sound easily possible, but more importantly, then made it happen in the same way.
They treated my brother with respect and kindness. The pallbearers were thoroughly professional; they were all smartly dressed and handled my brother's coffin with great care. Attwood's gave my brother the funeral we wanted for him, and I can't thank them enough. They turned a stressful situation into a gentle day because they made it run smoothly and without a single incident. Everyone that attended went out of their way to say it was the loveliest funeral they'd ever been to. Thank you Attwood x
