Outstanding Professionalism

Based in Scotland and with our close family member passing in Leeds I relied solely upon reviews and then recommendations from extended family and friends as to the directors to be entrusted with our loved one. I have to say Joseph Geldart & Sons came highly recommended and from reading reviews and picking up the phone and speaking with Hadrian I knew instantly we’d made the right choice.

He had time and patience to go over documents and paperwork over the telephone, we exchanged numerous forms and covered all the legalities via telephone and next day delivery postal services with such ease. Despite the 224 mile distance between us I felt comforted and assured he had everything in hand. I was impressed the day Hadrian received the green slip by post, he took no time at all in taking into his care our loved one from the hospital to his chapel of rest.

Given the distance we highlighted a few of our wishes and Hadrian and his team delivered on them all. A Scottish bagpiper was arranged and exceeded our expectations, the recommended celebrant could not have done a better job and the floral arrangements and coffin design/type again exceeded all our expectations.

Arriving from Scotland days prior Hadrian welcomed us into his own home to meet with himself and the celebrant to discuss the finer details and for this we are extremely grateful.

Despite the distance, Hadrian demonstrated true professionalism that no doubt comes from years of experience he has. His family/team were truly exceptional, so much so, quite a few of us have said we would have no hesitation in using Joseph Geldart & Son’s when the time comes. Our loved one always believed in that old adage “credit where credit is due” and we know she would have approved of the professional service and kindness we received, so thank you.
