I would like to thank Sylvia and her dedicated team for the professionalism and empathetic manner in which the funeral for our mother was conducted. Sylvia went the extra mile to make sure our family were supported in a difficult time and nothing we requested was ever too much trouble. This is the second time my family have called on the services of H. Bates Funeral Services and would not hesitate to recommend them to others requiring a first class funeral service.

My dear wife's unexpected passing naturally left me in unfamiliar territory. Thankfully, I acted on the recommendations of family & friends to use the services of H Bates Funeral Directors.

All you expect and several unexpected matters relating to the circumstances of my wife's departure were seamlessly dealt with in the most sympathetic and professional manner. From the very beginning to the absolute end of the process, everything went like a Swiss watch.

I have read, with great care, all the reviews on the H Bates website, and can only conclude the overwhelming majority of 5 star ratings are entirely warranted.

I have, therefore, no hesitation in giving a resounding endorsement to the comments made by others before me: "Everything was organised to perfection..."; "...the attention to detail, helpful suggestions and personal care by Sylvia..."; "The kindness and compassion shown to our family was beyond compare."; "The day went without a flaw..."; "Sylvia and her excellent team could not have been more helpful..." etc, etc, etc.
