I can't thank this company enough

We used Dainty & Downing in dudley for my grandad. He had a pre payment plan. It was such a difficult time for us as a family loosing my grandad. The guys came to the house to get him and were genuinely caring, i begged with them not to drop him as he was a big man, they promised to look after him (which they did)

We could phone and book to see my grandad when we wanted to, when we went to see him he always looked peaceful and like himself. It was 6 weeks from the day he died until the funeral and they were just so lovely and compassionate with us, they answered any questions we had, they were honest (which i prefer)

Nicky was absolutely amazing!!!! She's worth her weight in gold, she talked us through everything. Showed us things we could have as keepsakes with the ashes in, answered all our questions, gave me honest answers and kept us up to date with everything.
On the day of the funeral it snowed badly, but the guys still took my grandad past his very first home he lived in, they didn't rush us, they let us take our time and were ever so kind.

Although it was a horrible horrible time for us as a family, this company helped us so much.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this journey a little better.

I'd like to say a big thank you to all at N E Downings, in Blackheath they done a fantastic job and made an extremely sad day go as well as possible. All staff were helpful and very understanding from start to finish. I would recommend them whole heartedly.
