Excellent - cannot recommend highly enough

We first became aware of Aytons when we attended the cremation of a friend’s father a couple of years ago and were very impressed with the dignified service provided by Jane. I was in a mess after the death of my wife. Covid arrangements meant that initial contact was by phone and a lot of this had to be done via email and/or phone call. However, this did not detract from what I considered to be a very personal, compassionate, caring, professional service at all times.
Tony and a colleague turned up within an hour of my initial call and removed my wife’s body in a very sensitive and discreet manner. Jane provided comprehensive advice and was wonderful, she guided me through everything in such a caring sensitive manner, and emphasised that I could call her or email her at any time of day or night and she would respond very quickly. She also took on chivvying up our surgery to make sure that the required documentation was received by the Registrar so that my telephone appointment to register the death could go ahead on time. She also spoke separately to my son to discuss something that was troubling him and was able to reassure him completely.
We both found that Jane and Tony had a helpful, thoughtful and caring approach and felt that my wife was respected and cared for throughout the funeral process.
The day before the funeral, she talked me through what would happen and was excellent on the day itself in ensuring that the arrangements ran like clockwork
