As a family we would like to say a HUGE thank you to Cilla and her team for such a wonderful service for Graham today. The woodland service was discreet and just what he would have wanted. When we visited Cilla and discussed what we wanted, nothing was too much trouble, she kept us informed up to the day of the funeral and afterwards.
The overall impression of East Coast Funerals was 100% professional and sympathetic through a very tricky time. Thank you Cilla and the wider team at East Coast Funerals.

My first contact to east coast funerals after learning they would be taking care of my mother was to find out what indeed were the plans for her in terms of dates and the final service, and was rather rudely told that she (cilla) would not impart any information on my mothers passing as her client had instructed her not to do so, I received no sympathy or empathy as you would expect from a caring family business, very shocking behavior. I said I was disgusted and would seek the advise of others namely a local paper and social media for some free advice. she complained to the police saying I was threatening her business, and as a grieving son that was a very low blow indeed. would I rate them ? not on this occasion, absolutely disgusting behaviour.

I cannot thank Cilla enough for her compassion & kindness when we had the daunting task of arranging a funeral for our much loved Dad. We were kept informed every step of the way & with her knowledge & guidance were able to give our Dad the send off he deserved.

She guided the family with empathy and gentleness through the various stages and was most helpful in ensuring the funeral provided a fitting celebration of the life of our loved one. Faced with the daunting task of arranging my dad's funeral two of my brother's and I entered East Coast Funerals. As soon as the door closed Chris guided us through the arrangements. His calm, compassionate manner made us feel as at ease anyone could feel. Although I didn’t meet Cilla I had a couple of phone conversations with her and once again I felt comforted knowing that combined with Hazel Cresswell-King dad's funeral was going to be a personal celebration of his life.

Explaining everything necessary with clarity and kindness, in unusual circumstances, she covered all the logistics and took great pains to accommodate my aunt's selection of music. This left the family free to bring together a very special parting celebration.
