Clarkson's Independent Funeral Directors was originally established as Jolly's of Bath. The name changes in August 2001 and the company has been owned since 2004 by Carol Spalding whose breadth of experience combined with the Company's independence from any national chain means that Clarkson's is able to offer a high level of personal attention. The success of our Bath branch has encouraged us to expand our business in 2012 when we opened our branch in Frome where Mandy Lee, who was born and lives in the town, is the Branch Manager and Funeral Director. We are also delighted to welcome Alexandra Starkie onto the team and welcome her as she manages our newest branch which we are opening this year in Saltford, Bristol. Ian Marsh, Carol's husband and her daughter, Sophie May have both been a part of the business for several years along with Catherine Miller who assists Carol at busy times or holiday cover. Being a true family firm was always something Carol hoped for and is delighted that this has been achieved.
