Amazing company. Funeral for my father

Fergus did the funeral for my father. I had no idea. Him an his staff was so helpful and went though everything step by step. We had a while of getting my father back due 5o coronary things. However when chapel rest day came Fergus did am amazing job. My father looked like he was sleeping and the way he supported me an family and friend in and out of work hours. The church Vicor and everything was perfect and personal. We had our own horse an carriage an he let us do our route with my father an helped in anything possible. My dad was a normal person an a normal loud send off he had. I can not recommend this company enough. I have never arranged a funeral and I'm glad I chose them and they was very good with the price as well even tho that's not important as you pay for what you get and every part was worth everything we spent and more. Thank you so much for everything and all respect you have shown to me my dad and my family and friends

We started to look at funerals for my dad a few months before he passed, and even though we first called into Fergus Court a few months earlier he was still able to find the original paperwork he gone though with us.
We could not have asked for a more friendly firm, fergus himself was always there to answer our questions and boy did we have a lot. It's a family run business who really do go that extra mile to make this painful journey as ease as possible. The way they cared for dad and the attention to detail was second to none. There where no hidden extras the price they gave was the we paid. They took care off everything which is so nice giving you one less thing to worry over. Even the details such asthe flowers were outstanding. They really do take the worry away from you so you can force to the day in hand.
The whole team are outstanding and there just doesn't seem the words to say how truly thankful we are to you all.

Fergus Court Funeral Services

My Dad passed away 7th October, ’15 and coming from York we (my sister’s and myself) didn’t have much local knowledge, certainly not of Funeral Directors, so can only say how incredibly fortunate we were to have selected Fergus Court to look after all of the funeral arrangements. There was very little for us to worry about, in fact pretty much everything was taken care of and the service he and his team provided was a most professional and caring service. Provided the highest standards of care during our time of need

We choose Fergus court because its family run, independently owned funeral directors, he provided us friendly, dignified and caring service. As he is an independent funeral director he was able to offer a personal service only deal with him or a member of his family. Despite being one of the youngest funeral directors in North Yorkshire, his knowledge and expertise helped us at this very difficult time.

He helped us plan the funeral the way we wanted despite the interference from the family priest. He helped us plan Dad’s final goodbye to make sure we gave him the send-off he deserved, while keeping to our budget too.

He promise to do everything possible to give our Dad the funeral he deserved; and he always there to speak to when we had questions and never made us feel we were wasting his time. Dealing with Fergus court meant we didn’t have to deal with other providers; they took care of everything for us and paid great attention to detail to while still offering a very personal touch at a very difficult time.

Paying our last respects, they organised family visits for Dad’s family to come and pay their last respects to dad in a lovely little room at the back of the shop. We just informed him when family could come; a member of staff was always available to meet us.

They sorted out donations to our charities in lieu of flowers

Our limousine driver Liz took good care of us, she drove very smoothly which from Malton to York is no easy feat!! There was plenty of room for mum and my sister’s and myself…. We were worried having the funeral on a Friday afternoon about traffic, as it’s an extremely busy road. Everything was perfect they had planned everything out perfectly down to the last detail.

One of my sister’s was in a wheelchair and this did not phase them, the wheelchair just went in the boot. A long with her leg and crutches so she could walk when we arrived.

On the day of the funeral he was there to help and guide us, family and friends, to make sure anything went well. Dad had six of his grandsons carry his coffin, he would have been so proud of them all

Your compassion and finite attention to detail were second to none and greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements, flowers and the after service that you provided were of the highest standards, all which helped our family through this emotional time. Your assistance in every aspect has helped relieve both the agony and pressures put upon our family during Dads bereavement.
