Jill arranged the funeral for mu mum, we contacted Evershed funeral services after we contacted the council for recommendations. They provided brilliant service and were very good in price (also list as best value for money in Guardian News Online)
Jill made arranging the funeral stress free, she said ‘leave it with us’ and all the funeral arrangements were completed within 1 to 2 days (transportation, getting doctors certificates, making arrangements with the commentary, organising coffin, looking and well keeping of mum, and providing a wonderful funeral service)
She was incredible, very caring and truly has a heart of gold, she is very experienced, her experience of 4 lines of family in the funeral business data back over 100 years really showed, she was able to sort out the funeral very efficiently e.g. organising the funeral date and we had tears of happiness after seeing how well Evershed took care of mum.
Jill thank you so much, you made the cost manageable to under £900 whereas other places charged £3k
The service we received from Jill and Evershed was outstanding, you took such good care of us and mum
I definitely recommend Jill and Evershed Funeral services and I will use them again in the future

This is a bit late but I just had to say a big thank you to Jill who made us feel a lot better when we came out than we did when we went in. We chose eversheds brothers after having them years ago for our father and was very pleased with them then, so when mum decided to join dad we thought we would use the same company and we are so glad we did,it not a very nice place to spend time but Jill sorted out everything on our first visit and everything else we had to do was done over the phone so, Jill thank you very much.

Last month a friend of mine died and as our neighbour had used Eversheds I told my friend's family to go to Eversheds. the family told me Jill WAS THERE EVERY STEP OF THE WAY . they kept saying Jill really cares.
the family had been to another funeral home in Garrett lane and was asked for £ 3,00.00 up front ! or no deal! so when I said try eversheds as they are a family run business and did my neighbours funeral and really cared for the family.
my neighbour said Eversheds were there every step of the way!

An amazing Service

I would like to firstly thank Jill for her kindness, support and efficiency in arranging the recent funeral of my Sister, also my mother and Husband, both over the last 2 years. Her help and understanding was much appreciated during these very sad times. Jill made a very difficult time for our family so much easier to cope with.
In addition I would like to convey our sincere thanks to Minister Jonathan Gardener who led the service both for my sister this week and also my husband. Jonathan helped to make a sad day very special to us all.

Saved the day

Today I was let down by a funeral home and as you can imagine I was extremely upset. The crematorium recommended Evershed to me and they have absolutely saved the day. Jill has been amazing and I cannot praise her or the company enough for all their help.
