I am very grateful to African Carribean Funeral services for the help they provided whilst planning my dad's funeral. I had no idea where to start but they talked me through everything, step by step until I was comfortable. They assisted me all the way up until the day, which thanks to them, went beautifully and encompassed everything we wanted for our dads send off. Abbey in particular was a brilliant help. She was extremely attentive, making herself available to me whenever necessary with a patience and efficiency that I feel really ensured the smooth running of the day. It was our wish to have a customised casket for our dad which was representative of his life and love of music. Abbey made this possible for us; the casket came out amazing and we are so grateful. I can't thank Abbey enough, she supported me so much through the process that she felt like family and i will always be grateful. I appreciate the care and consideration given to us during this difficult time and would recommend this funeral service without hesitation.

I am happy that the other reviewer had a good experience with them as it is important but unfortunately I found when we used them ( the Barbadian gentleman) to be rude and arrogant. He needs to think about his people skills which unfortunately are lacking which is concerning because of the profession he is in.

My fathers funeral

My father recently passed at the start of the year. We knew that dad was going to pass in advance, so we prepared early.After approaching several funeral director, a friend recommended African Caribbean funeral services. As soon as we walked in we felt welcomed, like family, Me and my partner spent over two hours talking with the director and we didn't feel rushed or pressured at any time. This is a process that most of us have to go through at some time in life.
At every stage our director was there in a professional and friendly manner,which helped our family overcome those difficult and awkward situations.
My fathers funeral service was delt with in a personal touch, which was seen and noted by friends and family. Our funeral director Daniel and he's staff we cannot view them as just a business now, they're much more than that.
We the Hurley family really do appreciate the African Caribbean funeral services for what they did for our family.
