We used Townsend Moore for the funeral of my Dad who died suddenly. We didn’t know anything about arranging a funeral and Chris and Dorothy were wonderful and organised everything to perfection at a very reasonable cost. They even gave us a limousine free of charge. We can’t thank them and their team enough.

Vile company that are just rip off merchants!!

Would not really not recommend this company. Extremely rude and uncaring staff, and are only in it to see how much money they can get out of you. They clearly find ripping off customers who are at a vulnerable time of their lives acceptable and I shall be raising a complaint direct with the FCA. So many other better funeral directors in the town, I would avoid this company at all costs.

From the moment my daughter and I entered the premises to sort out the funeral of my wife we were treated with nothing but respect. Chris went through everything with us plainly and simply. Everything was covered in a detailed manner with a professional but compassionate manner, from the arrangements to organising both flowers and order of service. He undoubtedly saved us a fair amount of money but with no shortcuts. We were kept informed of how things were progressing at all times and I have no reservations about recommending both Townsend Moore as a company or Chris himself as a person, what was a very difficult time was handled with utmost care and as little upset as possible.
