Dear Russell and Lynette,I just wanted to offer a personal note of thanks for the way my Dads care and funeral arrangements have been dealt with .Russell in particular your efforts were personal,sensitive and heartfelt and i cant tell you what this means to the whole family.The respect you showed not to just the family but to my Dad too.At every stage it has really felt that getting everything absolutely perfect mattered to you intensely and i felt important to pass on my appreciation of that to you Russell.
A very caring funeral director Russell is so compassionate, he is so kind and calming he looked after us as a family, I just don't know how he does it but he is a very special person I know other people work there as well they are a great asset to anybody who needs to arrange a funeral, highly recommended by us as a family. On the day of the funeral Russell was there we felt totally supported and everything was perfect so thank you Bare and Torrisholme funeral service.
I could not have gone to a better place . If you want care and compassion Russell is the perfect person . He helped me tremendously after I lost my mother...Through my grief he guided me with such personal care helping me plan the funeral that I knew she would be happy with..Everything was perfect for her and I could feel her smiling...I will always remember that day with a warmth in my heart that I had done everything right for her. Russ thank for all you done arranging our uncles funeral we were 220 miles away suffering with covid 19 you did everything with dignity. We came up for the funeral 3 weeks later once we were over our symptoms we had a grave side service we felt very humbled thank you Paul and Beverley.

Hello Russell thank you for arranging the funeral of our late mother, every thing was done to a very high standard, the only slight fault i would say was the service sheets. Dont get me wrong the quality and content were very good my only gripe was the amount of time they took to coomplete we chose our theme for the front cover but the lady in your office kept trying to tell us i think this would be better or that would be better surely once our decision was made that should have been suufficiant. We know she meant well but in the end we knew what we wanted so please in future once the cover has been designed please leave it alone each time she sent an email proof we had to pass it around three family members ,two who lived away from morecambe and work full time very time consuming and not necesaary.

Firstly i would like to say if you need a caring passionate funeral director look no further than this one. Russell and the team are so caring you cannot go wrong, from the young lady in the office the assistants at the funeral every thing was perfect. I must admit i rang to find prices from other firms .we decided to use Bare &Torrisholme because from our first phone call which was answered by Russell i knew this was the company to go with for my mums funeral they are very good on price as well £1750.00 cheaper than some quotes we had, no compramise on service what so ever highly recomended thanks to all of you your so kind.

I wanted a simple cremation for my father and i got just what i wanted, dad looked so peaceful in the chapel of rest. From making the funeral arrangements in the funeral home office, until Russell said goodbye to us at the crematorium every thing was conducted with dignity, nothing is to much trouble highly recomended .

Can i start by saying we had never arranged a funeral before, we made an appointment for someone to come to our house ,11am was the agreed time, 11 am door bell rang thats a good start i thought bang on time, i opened the the door and i was met with a good morning iam Russell from Bare&Torrisholme funeral service . I thought what a well mannered polite young man we have here, we sat down to make the arrangements nothing was to much trouble , from talking about coming to see mum in the chapel, to arranging floral tributes etc etc. Russell took all the pressure away from us we were fretting over everything the day before not any more. any thing we asked was met with a positive answer very reasuring, the service sheets for the funeral were just wonderful, the arrangements for the wake went with out a hitch, so a big thank you to you Russell and your team at Bare&Torrisholme.

Of course it helped we had such a lovely sunny day ,the beauty of the cars, the flowers,and the service cards was truly heartwarming. All my family and friends of my dads commented on what a beautiful service and tribute to my dad this was. Your experience and understanding meant you unfailingly calmly and politely worked around the shortcomings of other agencies involved in my husbands death. As well as expertly balancing the hugely varied expectations and wishes of our family four children all with different ideas of what a funeral should be, you were so calm sitting and disgussing what we needed to do, this can have been no easy task and you showed calm and dignity throghout. We used this company twice in six months both occasions we had all the help we needed,our funeral diector was Russ nothing was to much trouble he even arranged the scattering of the cremated remains. the only down down side to this company is the woman on the phone very abrupt and sounded totaly uninterested in our call you need to have a caring friendly voice on the end of the phone unfortunatly this did not happen sounded like an elderly person who should have retired years ago. we only rang to tell them the newspaper anoucement, was spelt wrong i would use this company again just because Russ was so good to us but please bare and torrisholme get your secretary sorted out she lets the rest of you down.
Sadly my father passed away one phone call to Bare and torrisholme and i was in perfect caring hands. Russell was our funeral director what a genuine caring person, he understood our needs he arranged ever thing i cant speak any more highly of this funeral director ,i would recomend this company to any body who has lost a loved one.
