At the most difficult time of our lives when we sadly lost our son, we were lucky to find Unsworths via Dignity. The staff, and in particular Keith, were very professional, kind, respectful and sensitive. We had no experience in arranging a funeral/cremation but everything went smoothly and we were very happy with the service. I can't rate them highly enough.
My brother was diagnosed with a terminal condition in August 2018 which afforded him the opportunity to choose a funeral directors he was comfortable with, Keith choose Unsworths in Bury, from the first meeting Jane and her team were the epitome of professionalism and support, they offered a very congreunt ear to his situation and worked through his options for the funeral Keith wanted. They listened to his wishes and went out of their way to accommodate and advise him with a range of questions he had without quibble. After Keith passed away they continued to provide an exemplary service everything was checked and double checked before the funeral and on the day provided a dignified and extremely fitting service exceeding all expectations including going the extra mile to support a very distressed relative. When I first entered Unsworths Funeral Service I had never before had to organize a funeral and had no idea what to expect. I was immediately put at ease by Heidi who patiently explained everything step by step. The Crematorium, Flowers, Coffin and Casket were arranged before I left the office. Heidi even arranged for our parish priest to take the service for us. The night before the funeral Jane visited our home just to make sure that all was well with the arrangements. I never felt like I was being rushed even though I changed the music for the service just before the funeral. I will never forget the kindness shown to myself and my family at such a difficult time, especially as I know just how sad the winter months are for lots of families.
