We at John McLellan Funeral Directors are a highly regarded independent funeral company based in Fort William. As one of Lochabers longest established and privately owned business, we are proud to have served the Lochaber community for over 90 years and we continue today to provide the bereaved and their families with a compassionate, dedicated and professional service. We are members of The Scottish Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors (SIAF) and we adhere to their strict Code of Practice. We also offer pre paid funeral plans through Golden Charter.

My husband passed away and I was advised to use this firm. They were wonderful, discrete, sensitive and obliging. Very efficient and kind, Scott was a delight to deal with during a time when we were in need of guidance. Nothing was too much trouble and many people have commented that it was a beautiful service, and very ‘him’. Your help in arranging it, and making the process personal and calm, was an immense help through the tough early days. All I wanted was that we make arrangements that fitted with his wishes, and that the service reflected and honoured his life. Your care and expertise made this possible.
