My friend was anxious for the return of her husband's ashes and phoned Cheaters to be told they were ready. The promised phone call from them had not transpired.
I accompanied my friend for the collection. At the office we were told tbe ashes were in a card board box. My friend was mortified. At no time during the funeral planning was a container discussed. The ashes were actually in a plastic screw top container.
The company representative was totally unsympathetic, did not want to discuss containers and no apology was offered for this oversight.
When my mother died I had to find a funeral director I could leave to get on with things as I lived some distance from my mother's home. I contacted A.H.Cheaters after getting a recommendation I am so glad I did they were so helpful and caring they helped me through some difficult decisions and were always patient and understanding. As I did not have much money they helped guide me on best choices they organised flowers and order of services and it seemed like everything was done with no effort on my part as I was dreading having to make decisions and organise it just happened after speaking to Liz.
I cannot speak to highly of this very friendly family run business they really know their stuff.
