Buried my grandmother last year and wasn't aware I could leave a review until now. My family have used crosslands several times dealing with the late Eddie and his son dave both lovely sypathetic and genuine , however this time we was told dave was no longer available which was very dissapointing. From then on our whole experience went from bad to worse. There was nothing personal and the staff seemed not to really care. I won't go into full details but I'd recommend to look elsewhere. It's wrongly advertised as a family buisness and the compassion has been lost !
Can’t thank the funeral directors enough, for how they carried out my aunties funeral.Excellant staff who treated this sad occasion with heart and compassion. I would like to thank Jenny, Robin and all the staff that I met during this sad time and also Deborah Mcgregor,Huminist, who done a wonderful service that my auntie would have liked. Having experienced the unexpected death Of my father I attended the premises. Unable to gain access or response from phone calls. Eventually lady answered door due to delivery of toilet rolls. Ushered into small room. Door closed behind me whilst said lady had a social chat with delivery person. Observed environment was shabby, drab and unwelcoming. Minutes later lady asked what did I want
In an abrupt manner. At this time I gave her some supportive feedback as to my first impressions that I had not been dealt with with any sensitivity. To which she replied I don’t know what your here for donI. In an. Aggressive manner. To my amazement she stated to raise her voice. I politely asked her to stop Shouting at me. She was clearly agitated and then turned her back and said to a further person . “You deal With him”. The gentleman then came into the room wearing scraggy trousers and said he had just got back from Hospital. He then gave me a one page leaflet and until asked

Mother knew Eddy Crossland and was re questing then to manage my Dads funeral. However due to my experiences as a family there is no way that we would engage with this company who showed lack of empathy and sympathy on the day. Very disappointed
