Alan, the funeral director attempted to inappropriately, if not unlawfully, take the full amount again from my Building Society account. The attempt was fraudulent - luckily was unsuccessful, as I had insufficient funds in my account. I have a letter from the Building Society confirming this. The funeral directors Ayton & Ranson did not forthwith contact me to inform me that their attempt to withdraw the Ł4,565 was unsuccessful, which you would, in my view, expect, had the money not already been paid for in cash.

Thank you so much to everyone for the care and consideration, for all the arrangements you put in place for our Mum’s funeral. Your thoughtfulness was very much appreciated by us all, particularly during these strange times.
If they was more stars I would give them. Made our wonderful mams funeral perfect with every single detail. Jane And the staff are absolutely amazing and very professional but also you feel like you’ve known them all your life. Even though the funeral was in the peak pandemic they made sure it didn’t feel like it. I’m very proud and grateful for the lovely service and support before during and after my mams funeral.
