Geoff & Mandy Goold are Proud to be professional. Professionalism means quality, it means qualification, it means doing things right. When we opened our funeral home we wanted to achieve several things, we wanted it to reflect over 30 years of experience in the profession. We wanted to create a personal, professional, dedicated service that we as a family could be proud of. With our life skills and maturity we know first hand that bereavement is a long journey and we wanted to be able to be there for families at their time of need. When you suffer a bereavement, a funeral for a member of your family is one of the most difficult days of your life. Everything that you and your family and friends thought about a loved one is expressed on that day, this is where experience matters. It is a rare privilege to be a funeral director, to stand in a sensitive position at a crucial time in the midst of your family, knowing that the quality of our service and reputation will help you through this most difficult time in your lives. We offer a truly personal, approachable service, it would be rare for us not to be able to work with the families to achieve a meaningful service within their budget, a funeral doesn't have to be expensive to be memorable. Many people have recommended us and we ask the families if that was because we are a husband and wife team, or because of our professionalism and attention to detail. 'Yes' they say, 'it's all of those things, but it's also because of the unique environment you create, it's the way your family looked after our family that's important to us'. Many people have said to us that it must be difficult being married and working together all day and spending so much time together. We have been asked 'what do you talk about at night?' Our reply to that is that as parents and grandparents we have plenty to do and talk about. One of our proudest moments, besides our two sons serving their country was when Dan told us that he wanted to join our business and learn how to be a funeral director. In another twenty years or so he will take the reigns and steer our company into it's second generation. We often turn to family, neighbours and friends in time of crisis, here at G & M Goold families will come in as strangers, but they always leave as friends.

We found Mandy,Geoff and family at 2.00am after losing our precious mum. The reviews attracted us and we were not disappointed. From start to finish we felt supported and cared for, (not just another customer).
We cannot recommend G &MGoold highly enough, with their professionalism and attention to detail, our experience could not have been better. Thank you so much

We are at our lowest ebb and extremely vulnerable when we lose someone close to us. We recently lost our dear Dad, and only remaining parent.
From my initial phone call (early on a Sunday morning) when I spoke to Mandy, both her and Geoff have been an amazing support to us.
Throughout the process, Mandy's "guiding hand" and knowledge has meant that the whole ordeal has been as "pain free" for us as possible and we are deeply grateful to them for this.
It is Mandy that I have dealt with from the start to the finish. And she was with us on the day of the funeral, calming and guiding us through the day.
Their attention to detail and caring approach is second to none and we are deeply grateful for their tremendous support at this difficult time.
This company helped my family over 2 years ago when we sadly lost my grandfather. Today we have laid my uncle to rest and I have nothing but utter respect and gratitude for this company. Geoff and mandy go the extra mile throughout the whole thing. I cannot thank you both enough for your services. A very sad time for us all but you seem to some how make things a little better. Thank you so much . Nick, Poe\\\'s nephew xxx
I had such a lovely day at the annual Christmas Tree Memorial Day. Thank you for letting me be part of it all. I'm so proud of you both and so proud to be your daughter. All I heard today were what lovely, kind, and caring people you are and how rare that is.
Anyone who loses someone they love is very lucky to have you two look after them (and Dan and Mike!)
Hope you're having a little toast to yourselves because you deserve it! xxxxx
