I don't really know where to begin, I just want to say a huge thank you to you and everyone at Bannons who made my dad's day so special ❤️
From the moment we first came in you were all amazing, my dad looked beautiful, the room was beautiful just everything was perfect 🙏
Nothing ever appeared 'business as usual' especially on the day, everything was so personal like we were the only family you'd ever dealt with and myself and my family are forever grateful for that.
I can't remember the name of the tall man (wears glasses) who walked ahead of the cars etc he's a credit to the company as are all of you.

I booked this funeral directors on a recommendation from a friend . We found them very good , caring and reasonable. Thank you to all the staff for your kindness and care at such a sad time for my friend .
I live nearly 300 mls from Liverpool and although grieving had willingly accepted the responsibility of organising our Mum’s funeral.
From my first contact with Clare I was treated like a friend, she confidently guided me through the process with humour and compassion- nothing was too much trouble. When I was struggling, she spoke to and gave me the name and tel number of a bag-piper, who made Mums funeral so special and dignified.
Thank you Clare and Lawrence your help in such difficult times have left us with lovely memories, we will be forever grateful.
On behalf of my family I would like to thank everyone at Desmond L Bannon for a first class service that was provided for my father’s funeral today (15/12/20)
From the very first point of contact with our local branch in Kirkby everyone was very professional and treated us with such respect and dignity, nothing was too much trouble.
Everything from arriving early to our home to collect dad on the morning, to planning the route and making sure everyone was comfortable with everything was superb and I feel we were treated with respect and dignity.
I’m sorry I didn’t catch all the staff names involved, but I wholeheartedly believe that you couldn’t have done better, thank you all for making a very sad day more bearable. Kevin

Thank you so much to the guys at BANNONS. My mother knew Des from her school days and always told us to “Go and see Desie when I go”.
Well we did go to Bannons, unfortunately we found out Desmond sadly passed away 20 or so years ago but his boys are still there and they are doing their fathers name and incredible service. We were looked after with such respect, understanding and kindness that we will never forget and be forever grateful.
You did our mum proud!

Couldn’t do enough for us. Every time we went there we were treated like royalty. From picking the music and the flowers etc to Dads final journey everything was perfect. The most special thing for us was the complete surprise of taking Dad around Anfield for one last time. None of us even thought of doing that but Laurence Bannon just instinctively knew we and Dad would love it. He even placed a flower for Dad at Shanklys feet. Perfect.
We cannot thank you enough all at Bannons.

I used bannons 10 years ago for my Nan. They had a small team of 5 lads. They were young but fantastic lads. This year I came back to bury my uncle. The lads have gone. Replaced by arrogant people who are really damaging the name of bannons. White House is cold and miserable. Staff are pathetic. I guess a lot can change in 10 years. Bring back the old team.
I just wanted to come on here to publicly express my thanks to Bannon’s after my dear wife recently passed away.
Andrew and his brother Laurence along with their team are a credit to their profession. From my first call at 4.00am in the morning until my wife’s ashes were personally delivered back to me at our house they were brilliant. Nothing was to much trouble for me or my family and at every stage they helped and reassured us to the point we felt like they were our own family.
Thanks once more and god bless each and everyone of you guys there.

Unprofessional. Awful and worst experience ever. As soon as I got there, the receptionist wasn't nice, didn't make me welcome at all, and started whispering to her colleague in front of me and told her to go into the room and fix something. As I went in, my dad was poorly presented. They tried to cover up my dad's bloodied arms with the silk in the coffin, not only were his arms bloodied but so was his shirt. The stitches they had made were visible to his chest and his mouth, the stitches were wet, his skin not fully stitched and there was a visible, bloodied plastic wrap poking out of his pants and shirt. I know these do need to be used sometimes, but I did not expect to see it. This is not what I wanted to see when visiting my dad in the chapel of rest.
Next, the staff came in, telling us to hurry, and after this, the staff started to make ghouly and ghost sounds outside of the door - absolutely appalling, disrespectful and distressing. As we went outside to ask what they were doing, the receptionist and her colleague were laughing at their "joke".
This was an awful experience for me and my brothers, I will not be recommending this disrespectful business to anyone. And I hope nobody has this experience when visiting their family members.
I would not recommend Desmond L Bannon the service my family recieved was just dreadful not a very pleasant place to visit very cold and not inviting very odd smell to the place also over heard one of the employees being spoken to in a not so nice manner only reason we came here because money was tight and was told this place was reasonable which it was but then again you get what you pay for .
I would highly recommend this company to anyone. The have such kind and caring staff and nothing was too much trouble for them. It made a very hard time for the family a lot more bearable and they took the worry and stress of the funeral away.
I have had to use this company on two occasions.
But both times Our family have been treated with respect,humility and compassion.
Not living in the area they have been extremely helpful and kind.
I don't think I know enough words to say Thank you to you all for all you have done on both these sad occasions.

I have never had to arrange a funeral before and didn't know what to expect. I have just lost my mum. I phoned Desmond L Bannon & Sons. I cannot thank them enough. They talked me through everything and arranged everything told me what to expect etc. Michelle was amazing. She put my mind at ease. Also Paul was very helpful. And on the day of my mum's funeral Phil looked after us from start to finish. He was very good and kind and I just can't thank you all enough. They were all amazing from start to finish. Big thank you to Bannons. Phil looked after us from start to finish and we felt like nothing was to much trouble, he even came to our home to put the arrangements for mums funeral on a Sunday. Having previously used a bigger company a few years before the personal touch we received was very much appreciated and made a lot of difference.

This is the 2nd time we have used Desmond L Bannon & Sons this year. We have found the Staff courteous, polite and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Everything was explained which was easy to understand and this made me feel very comfortable. We phoned the number out of hours on several occasions and within 1 hour of us calling we able to see our relative in Chapel. Soft music was playing at the White House and the candles were lit which was a nice touch. I have no hesitation in recommending Desmond L Bannon & Sons as their service was second to none.
From beginning to end it was handled very poorly. The staff have no idea of what is appropriate behaviour ,making jokes to family members while they are waiting to visit the relative who has died. Listening to music on phone during the visit. Mistake after mistake and no apology. My biggest regret is using bannons. .If you need to arange a funeral I advise you to go elsewhere
Andy, Laurence & co did an incredible job of looking after both my Mum and Dad, over a decade apart. As well as being impeccably professional, they somehow manage to bring some real (and very welcome) humanity to an incredibly difficult time. I guess funerals aren't something most of is 'shop around' for; but I doubt you could do better than Bannons.
I am writing this message with a broken heart ,we lost our son very suddenly .we cannot thank andy and Lawrence from Desmond Bannons &sons enough for the support and compassion at this sad time they were fantastic they were so professional caring and there for us every step of the way we cannot thank them enough we would recommend them to anyone but pray you won't need them THANK YOU again and God Bless you Linda Paul Ste Michael Emma and all the family xxxxx
