Been in touch with this funeral directors who took my father in order
to arrange a cremation this was the 5th september. We have asked when the cremation is to take place and have been stone walled with a response we have now been referred to their legal representation. The only rational on why we would be dealing with a solicitor instead of being given the date of cremation can only be that our father as been lost this is heartbreaking and more than anything is adding to our heart ache at this extremly sad time Do Not Trust this funeral directors with your loved one.
We used Colin Ward for our aunt's funeral last week. The service provided was impeccable, helpful, professional and compassionate. We lived in Canada so did most of the arranging via email and telephone; Lynne was a full of advice as the services are different between the two countries and a wealth of help and information. Ian was understanding and professional. We could not have found a better company to help us and highly recommend their services. We would give a 6 if possible.
Colin and his staff are brilliant at what they do. Communication is excellent informing you of what is happening and nothing is genuinely too much trouble. Dignity is maintained at all times which I have seen being breached by others. As a family business I cannot recommend Colin Ward Funeral Services enough as I have been involved as part of my job as a Nurse. Put it this way, if I died tomorrow, I'd want Colin and his staff to look after me!
I cannot thank Colin ward funeral services enough, especially Ian ward. The kindness and understanding they showed was very much needed and appreciated at such a difficult time. I felt I could ring them up at anytime (Which I did) and nothing was ever too much of a bother for them. Ian ward is a huge asset to Colin and the sort of son I would be proud to have.
This amazing family business is the kindest professional service I\'ve ever received. They saw me through the hardest time of my life with nothing but kindness. The biggest thanks goes out to them, especially Ian Ward.
Used Colin and his sons for my father's funeral four years ago. We were all so impressed with their professionalism, kindness and efficiency that we shortly will be using them again for my father in-law in a couple of weeks. Cannot for the life of me understand why another reviewer has been so negative, can only assume they have an unstated agenda.
