A big thank you to Keith, Anne Marie, Richard & Helen,
For all their support, professionalism and understanding at such a difficult time.
They were always there 24/7, 365 days a year; as we had a Christmas Eve bereavement.
Keep up your valued work.

Christopher Waywell says...

I recently instructed Maddocks to look after my dad (locally known Warrington artist Reginald Waywell) as my Dad was from around Wellfield Street it was more ideal for us to have him at their chapel of rest on Lexden Street. I have to say they made him look at peace comfortable and content just like he was having his afternoon snooze. The chapel rooms are lovely and light and roomy not like the cramped rooms that other funeral directors use. The staff was lovely and nothing was too much trouble for them. The director himself is a lovely gentleman and the drivers are professional and the cars are very smart. They helped us to perform a perfect funeral with no hitches or problems, everything was 100% professional. I cannot recommend this company enough if you care about your loved ones then give them the best and use Maddocks.

D. Ardern says...

I found the person who dealt with the arrangement of a family funeral to be insensitive and lacking in basic knowledge surrounding a sudden death. She even asked us to look up the postcode of the place of death whilst we were trying to sort out the funeral details.
To be fair the funeral itself went well and was as we had requested, but when I went to collect the ashes a few weeks later I was given the urn in a Maddocks carrier bag and told that the handles would "probably hold". Bearing in mind that I can't imagine that the business needs carrier bags for anything other than carrying urns, shouldn't the company make sure they had a decent product. All in all we found it a very upsetting and unprofessional experience.

Did you know? The funeral directors register was founded in August of 2012, that is 12 whole years! We like to think of ourselves as the first, comprehensive, funeral director reviewing platform in the United Kingdom.
