This is the second funeral I have used Willinghams for. The big directors are so impersonal, you talk to a suit behind a desk who is the funeral planner, on the day you see strangers at the service. With Richard at willinghams you arrange everything with Richard and on the day he is the one that meets you, the same friendly face you first dealt with. Nothing is too much trouble to him, recently I used him for my dear aunts funeral. She lived in West Sussex and was at Worthing hospital, I called Richard about the logistics,as the service was back in Guildford. Richard not only went to Worthing and collected my aunt to bring her back to his chapel of rest in Cambridgeshire he then took her back to Guildford to the crematorium that all the family have used. He arranged everything, all the paperwork, flowers, priest, order of service. Nothing not a thing was to much trouble. No distance not a thing. I know money is not a issue at a time like this but given the logistics you would expect it to be dearer. He came in almost £800 cheaper than a West Sussex independent director and in the thousands for one of the big company's. if you want a personal service from a lovely man and team then I can't recommend him highly enough. It's a comfort at the crematorium to see him and not people you have never set eyes on because you arranged with a suit called a funeral planner sat behind a desk. A funeral is a personal affair and with Richard you get that personal service, a very kind considerate man who will endeavour to accommodate everything you want or need, and when you call up with that question you forgot he is there to answer it. The service he gives does not allow for errors because he deals with it start to finish, not doing part then passing onto the next department. He was recommended to me one of the best recommendations I have ever had, if I have the misfortune to need another funeral in the future. Hopefully not but I will only use Richard.
