From the day of my fathers death in January to today in March, I can honestly say that I have never come across such shocking customer care. Dad died on a Friday and we were told his body would be taken into care from the hospital that day and we would be contacted by the priest that afternoon. Later on the undertaker telephoned to inform us that Dad would be collected a week later and after much discussion we were told that Tuesday was the earliest they could do. The priest didn't call and when we visited the church, he hadn't been contacted. We agreed with the priest that Friday or the following Tuesday were suitable dates for the funeral. We visited the undertaker to discuss dates to be told that it was taking place in two weeks. They had to then telephone the priest and the cemetery to get an earlier date. On the day of the funeral we were given a form with all attendees to be published in the local press. When after 6 weeks there still was no notice, we were informed that these forms were no longer used and Williams knew this in January. My mother had agreed to use this company for her funeral care plan but will now no longer be doing so after being so shoddily treated. This company merits zero stars but one was the minimum allowed
Did you know? The funeral directors register was founded in August of 2012, that is 12 whole years! We like to think of ourselves as the first, comprehensive, funeral director reviewing platform in the United Kingdom.
