I'm amazed nobody else has written a review for the services provided to support mum and the family following the death of my father at home. We contacted the sevenoaks branch who right from the start showed respect and dignity. They were sensitive as to what mum wanted allowing her to keep dad another night providing us with the cooler fans. All that wanted to see dad again came and then we supported each other as dad was taken away the next afternoon. The guys saw dad into the black ambulance van and walked in front all the way down the road until they were out of sight, we found this really touching. On the day of the funeral, they were supportive all the time caring for mum, they were unobtrusive whilst we said our goodbyes and willingly accommodationed any preferences.
I wouldn't be doing this justice without mentioning Sophie, she is a star, she absolutely is the best, it can't be an easy job dealing with death, grief and sadness but always jolly, kindly and ready to listen. She shared last time I saw her how , widows had met in the shop and have formed friendships and gone on holiday together!
Very satisfied, yes, you have to pay but it's not money you would ever begrudge for our dear father.
Did you know? The funeral directors register was founded in August of 2012, that is 12 whole years! We like to think of ourselves as the first, comprehensive, funeral director reviewing platform in the United Kingdom.
