Unfortunately My father, Brin, 87, passed away during the covid 19 lockdown, thankfully from natural causes, not the terrible virus.
Steve from Penybont was very professional and caring, and as the only contact was via email and telephone due to social distancing, he was extremely supportive during a very difficult time, he handled all the arrangements without any issues in an unprecedented situation and really helped everything to proceed as well as anyone possibly could have given the circumstances. He booked the crematorium, explained how things would be conducted, how many family members could attend and arranged for the music, minister and everything else we asked of him, the whole ceremony went smoothly and respectfully. We would have liked to have had a bigger congregation but alas that was not possible. His at home carers and nurses did however line the driveway to the chapel, an honour guard befitting how much he was loved by everyone, and as a Korean war veteran who was severely injured in battle at the age of just 19. I thank you on behalf of my family, Steve, and all your staff ,for making everything as bearable as possible.
Did you know? The funeral directors register was founded in August of 2012, that is 12 whole years! We like to think of ourselves as the first, comprehensive, funeral director reviewing platform in the United Kingdom.
