A friendly professional service.

I have looked after my Mum for over 4 years and she just reached 97. After a slight health issue, the hospital said she needed a pace maker but to fit it would cause her too much stress. They released her on end of life care as her vital signs were low. I made the decision to take out a funeral plan as I knew it would be just too hard to do when she did pass away.
I live in Codicote where there is a JJ Burgess funeral office. It's good to give local business support and in return we get excellent service. The office is supported by a team at Knebworth, which is very local.
I made an appointment for the next day and met a lovely lady called Ann. She helped us with every detail and made it very easy to understand. It is hard, I admit but easier than after someone passes. Trust me, I have done it several times and it is so hard to keep it all together as well as trying to make the right decisions. At least doing it advance you have time to go away and think about what you want. There was no rush with the forms. It was very easy.
When we had sorted out all of our thoughts we received emails and phone calls from the most wonderful person, Bradley. He made everything just click into place and when my Mum did finally pass, everything went like clock work. We called JJ late at night and had mum taken to the chapel of rest. It made it so much easier than waiting until next day wen we would be even more upset.
Everyone helped so much. They really cared about us and our feelings, not just my Mum. Nothing was over looked. Nothing was pushed on us, we just had total support. Nothing was too much trouble. They arranged a lovely casket with photos of Mum, all in pink . Bradley went out of his way to help us and I have to say, it was more like being helped by friends than a company.
I wouldn't use anyone else and I would strongly recommend them.
