Love and care losing my Grandson 💙

23/09/2019

When a loss happens, whether it be Mum, Dad, brother, sister, Son, Daughter, it truly does change and cripple a person or families forever.
This is my story to share with anyone going through this horrific journey.

I lost my beautiful Grandson JAIDEN ANDREW in June of this year, june 2nd to be exact.
My Daughter who was 21 at the time had her beautiful boy taken away to be placed in Care when she and I asked for respite...yes WE asked for help with his complex needs and severe disabilities.
He died in Care.
Alison and Guardian Funerals were the names we heard a few days after Jaidens passing.
I cannot stress enough how much this lady and her family and team helped us ALL through this sudden and horrific place we found ourselves in.
There was an inquest which kept Jaiden away from us all for nearly 4 weeks but that was not a problem for this beautiful lady, and Donna taking every stress and problem from us, making this situation a wee bit bearable. They picked Jaiden up from Sheffield, brought him back to her funeral home and took so much care of my Daughters first born, with extreme care, love and dignity.
They read stories to Jaiden, Alison put a speaker near Jaiden and brought her iPad to play Nursery Rhymes, PAW PATROL EPISODES and Disney songs (Jaidens absolute favourites) whilst he was in her care.
The family wrapped him up every Day and evening in his favourite blankets and pj\'s and snuggled him and talked to him, then placing Jaiden to rest in their private home so we knew Jaiden was NOT ALONE . This may sound crazy to some, but we worried he would be alone, not in Alison or her families care.
We NEVER had to pay a PENNY to view or sit or cuddle our Jaiden, not once.
Jaiden was so loved, that Alison became part of our family and still is.
Who couldn\'t care for them back after what they did for our Boy, Jaiden Andrew.
This care went above and beyond for us all and the funeral and our cinderella coach was out of this world!!!
Alison bought yellow cravats out of her own money for the men and women on Jaidens final resting day. The horses were beautiful white and huge yellow and white feather ...PAW PATROL COLOURS, Jaiden was laid in his very own PAW PATROL covered coffin ...that little boy would have been extremely happy that day.
We asked for whatever we wanted for Jaiden and NOTHING was a problem.
My daughter could sit and cuddle her son, whenever she wanted with no stresses what-so-ever. That helped me cope somewhat with losing my beautiful Grandson and to take of my grieving daughter.
My daughter was 8 1/2 months pregnant too with her second son at this time, but we never had to worry one bit throughout this whole excruciating sad and difficult time.
I cannot Express enough how good this funeral care team are, they are tucked away in the heart of Shipley, Bradford out of sight, but please look this firm.up on Facebook, google, yell or funeral home site, as this one.
Our gratitude and love for these people goes beyond just a simple thank you.
Thank you Alison and Daniel and team for Everything ❤
