This is the type of review one wishes one would never have to write...however...Having laid my dear sister, Shirls to rest, just over two years ago, there was never any doubt that our family would use the services of Hugh Gooding Funeral Services.

The special touches and highly professional, warm reception from initial approach, right through all of the tough and emotional decisions which have to be made to accommodate various wishes and desires in a fairly large family during funeral arrangements, was trusted to the extremely capable, helping hands of Hugh Gooding Funeral Services.

Both during the church service, to the burial and the celebration of life ceremony which followed, the totally dedicated HGFS team really helped our family to get through what is often described by the people of Leeds and further afield as the funeral with the biggest attendance ever seen. HGFS not only managed this massive capacity of people and all the extras we thought would be fitting for my sister, with calmness and aplomb, but still had time throughout the day to check how we were doing as a family.

I like to believe my beloved sister was looking down, with her usual beatific smile, saying "Yes, family - just how I wanted it". Can never thank the team enough for making our saddest day so beautifully memorable.
