Dear Mr Williams
I must begin by having to apologise for submitting this damning critique to you. I would have much preferred to deliver it to Mrs. Pople personally - it would be good to hope that you might pass it on to her.
I am the resident lead organist at the North Devon Crematorium, and today, as were my colleagues, completely dismayed to see and read one of the the lead stories in the South West cocncerning the criminal behaviour of Mrs. Pople.
One cannot begin to comprehend or condone her totally inexcusable behaviour over an extended period of time.
This disgusting woman brings into total disrepute all that I hold fundamental and crucial to my profession, as I assume do you,.
Here at the North Devon Crematorium we cover an area extending from West Somerset through East ,Central and North Devon into East Cornwall. Luckily we have had no dealings with this appalling woman.
All of our Fds are now busy distancing themselves from this disgusting woman and all that she represents. As yet it seems that no journalists have linked her with your company - I fervently hope for your sake that they do not.
There, clearly, can be no lower form of life than one who would take advantage of berieved families at the most vulnerable point in their lives (including her own family) to enrich their own bank balance. Not often do polite words fail me.
The final insult to all of these families who had put their trust in Pople is to be on the receiving end of a court verdict that is the obscene equivalent of a gentle slap on the wrist - she must be laughing all the way to her bank.
As the French would say "Pour encourger les autres."
If one were looking for a contemporary statement of the lack of decent values in the society of today one need look no further than Pople.
At present I feel moved to copy this email to all of our FDs, ministers and the media to ensure maximum exposure of this digusting behaviour.
